Unity and Constant in Mozart

Abstract

This article was the second prize winner of the University of Wisconsin/Madison Analysis Competition. The University of Wisconsin/Madison Analysis Competition was conducted in 1985 and adjudicated by an independent panel of nationally respected theory specialists. Contestants were instructed to submit a teaching analysis of a tonal composition suitable for classroom presentation at the level of sophomore theory.
